Peter Belec, Guitar

“I am immensely excited to be presenting Peter Belec plays Belectronix at the Yardbird Suite. With elements of Zappa, Steve Reich, Tortoise, Stereolab and Bjork, the music is a sonic dreamscape adventure, brimming with enchanting melodies and hypnotic rhythms. Never before in my career have I presented live music that is so truly representative of who I am as an artist and I very much look forward to bringing it to the esteemed Yardbird Suite audience”.

In anticipation of our eventual reopening, the Yardbird Suite is happy to continue to present local musicians broadcasting live to your home.

We broadcast live from the Yardbird Suite. There are no audiences other than the performers and audio technician who are physically distant, do not share the same equipment, nor come into contact with each other. Every effort has been made to comply with AHS safety guidelines.

Curated by Edmonton musicians Nicolás Arnáez, Stephanie Urquhart, Peter Zawalski, the all-Edmonton lineup features a variety of solos, duets, and instruments. Performances will run Tuesdays, Fridays, & Saturdays 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

If you missed some of broadcasts, or want to watch again, please visit our Youtube page.
