Marty has had contact with many of the modern greats in his two-year stint living in New York where he studied with Michael Mossman, Antonio Hart, Luis Bonilla, and Steve Davis. He has led the Yardbird Suite Jazz Orchestra, co-led the WCMA nominated group the Writers’ Guild, and recorded his latest CD featuring European superstar Florian Ross. He has also taught music for the Edmonton Catholic School district for the last 18 years and is on faculty at MacEwan University.
Our live Tuesday Jam is hosted by a musician and a band while audience members join in on the fun by jamming along on stage.
Musicians who want to participate in the Jam can purchase a “Jam Participant” ticket at a reduced cost.
