Tuesday Jam Hosted by Joe Semple

Joe Semple is a clarinetist, saxophonist, and composer, based in Treaty Six Territory in Canada.

Joe cut his teeth as a player and arranger while a member of the Royal Canadian Artillery Band, Canada’s oldest professional military ensemble. With the RCA band, Joe has travelled across Canada, to Belgium, France, and participated in the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace in London. He has played alongside greats such as Eric Marienthal, and Jens Lindemann, and has performed for heads of state and royalty including King Charles III and Queen Elizabeth II. Joe spends his time playing around Northern Alberta with various ensembles and genres, from bebop, clarinet quartet and video game music, to afrofusion and everything in-between. Joe’s first feature length album Licorice Tango, is scheduled for release Fall 2023.

About Tuesday Night Jam Sessions

Join us for our live Tuesday Jam hosted by a musician and a band while audience members join in on the fun by jamming along on stage.

Musicians who want to participate in the Jam can purchase a “Jam Participant” ticket at a reduced cost. All Jam Participants need to register at the door upon entry to the event.
