Deborah is excited for this opportunity to reconnect with her jazz roots and share some of her favourite classic jazz standards with the audience. With a night that you won’t forget, and a voice that’s guaranteed to touch your heart. Come prepared to experience something you might’ve never experienced before.
As a young emerging artist on the Edmonton music scene, Deborah has become known for performances that showcase not only her vocal power, but her remarkable gift for improvisation. Making waves through the music scene with entirely improvised songs created in the moment. She has developed a reputation for transforming any kind of instrumentals into deeply moving musical experiences. Drawing from jazz, R&B, soul, and gospel influences, Deborah brings a combination of authenticity, creativity, and emotional connection to every performance.
Deborah is honoured to make her Yardbird debut and grateful for the opportunity to share an evening of music with you. She hopes these songs bring you the same joy, comfort, and the wonder that first made her fall in love with jazz.
Our live Tuesday Jam is hosted by a musician and a band while audience members join in on the fun by jamming along on stage.
Musicians who want to participate in the Jam can purchase a “Jam Participant” ticket at a reduced cost.
All Jam Participants need to register at the door upon entry to the event.
