Having played at many of the most prominent music venues in Yellowknife, such as the Northern Arts and Cultural Centre and the Snowking’s Castle, Alex strives to create music that is intense and captivating while also being uplifting. His sound is modeled after great jazz artists such as Pasquale Grasso, Pat Martino, and Keith Jarrett; however, he is also influenced by classical music and heavy metal. Alex is currently focusing on gaining more experience as a performer while also developing his voice as a composer with an approach that combines his passion for a variety of genres with his northern heritage.
Our live Tuesday Jam is hosted by a musician and a band while audience members join in on the fun by jamming along on stage.
Musicians who want to participate in the Jam can purchase a “Jam Participant” ticket at a reduced cost.
