The Get Downs

A 10-piece soul, rhythm and blues ensemble, the band features the musical talents of a seasoned group of players and singers who have been hitting stages big and small across Western Canada for 25+ years.

Experts in their craft, the members seamlessly gel together to create an unforgettable experience you’d expect to see in a New York lounge or a Chicago blues club, right here in Edmonton. Every performance feels like a one-of-a-kind private party, where the energy and polish of the show compel audience members to quite literally get down—grooving to the familiar hits of Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin, Bruno Mars, Marvin Gaye, Lauryn Hill, Earth, Wind & Fire, and many more.

Known for their sold out show “The Men of Motown” at the Citadel (2015) and Spotlight Cabaret (2019-present), The Get Downs are newly named and turning things up—bringing a high calibre, lively performance to your next event with class and style.
