The Charlie Austin Quartet: Hearing Voices

Charlie has written and published books of piano music studies and notably an educational study on jazz piano, “An Approach To Jazz Piano”, which is selling well online.

This features a quartet consisting of leading saxophonist Don Berner, the great Aretha Tillotson on bass, and on drums is up and coming drummer Eric Zeller.

Charlie (piano and vocals) will be playing piano and keys: a keyboard which has within it, the ability to create three vocal harmonies from a solo vocal input which intelligently follows the chords et al of the player. Charlie has been working on it for a number of years and considers it a great learning tool: it’s fun too.
