Stefan Kijek Trio is an Edmonton based piano trio that aims to create, perform, and explore the evocative music of bandleader Stefan Kijek.

The music is heavily visual, combining storytelling elements reminiscent of classical and folk music with improvisation and tonality of jazz. Drummer Jamie Cooper and bassist Murray Wood join Stefan to fill out the stage in what is one of Edmonton’s most unique acts.
