Russell Jackson was born in Memphis Tennessee and started his career in Chicago touring with Otis Clay in 1976.

Russell left the Otis Clay band in 1979 to join B.B.King, and toured around the globe with him for 7 years when he decided to further his music education at Dick Groves School of Music in Los Angeles. Through the years he’s played or recorded with Katie Webster, Charlie Musselwhite, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Long John Baldry, Powder Blues Band, Willie Nelson, Matt “Guitar” Murphy and Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne who he continues to tour with. He started his band in 1994 and perfected his skills on the upright bass as well as electric. Having recorded 3 of his own albums, you will hear some original songs as well as classic blues and funk from all his years touring with the greats.

Tickets will also be available at the door if not previously sold out online.
