The Get Downs are one of Edmonton’s favourite retro party bands. A 10-piece soul, rhythm and blues ensemble, the band features the musical talents of a seasoned group of players and singers who have been hitting stages big and small across Western Canada for 25+ years.

The Get Downs bring a high caliber, lively performance to any event. Every performance feels like a one-of-a-kind private party, where the energy and polish of the show compel audience members to quite literally get down—grooving to the familiar hits of Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Lauryn Hill, Earth, Wind & Fire, and many more.
