Holly Sangster Quintet

Emerging Artist Showcase

Holly Sangster is an Edmonton-based musician entering her fourth year in MacEwan University’s Bachelor of Music program.

  •  October 12, 2021
     7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

She started off with the piano at age 7, which eventually led her to the clarinet, voice, cello, and saxophone. Heavily influenced by musicians such as Braxton Cook, Ella Fitzgerald, and Cannonball Adderley, she aims to bring her voice and instruments together in her music. Holly has performed in many venues in Calgary and Edmonton including The Jack Singer, Ironwood, The Aviary, and Yardbird Suite. She hopes that her performance at the Yardbird will illustrate her passion and love for music.
