Having played at many of the most prominent music venues in Yellowknife, such as the Northern Arts and Cultural Centre and the Snowking’s Castle, Alex strives to create music that is intense and captivating while also being uplifting. His sound is modelled after great jazz artists such as Pasquale Grasso, Pat Martino, and Keith Jarrett; however, he is also influenced by classical music and heavy metal. Alex is currently focusing on gaining more experience as a performer while also developing his voice as a composer with an approach that combines his passion for a variety of genres with his northern heritage.
