Ellen Doty

(Edmonton)

With a voice that is at once “soft, sweet, confident and assured” (CBC Music: Top Canadian Jazz Musicians under 35 List), Ellen Doty combines her love of Jazz with the influences of the great songwriters of our time.

  •  May 7, 2022
     8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Ellen’s soulful music incorporates everything from pop and jazz to soul, folk, and indie music: a sound that is uniquely hers. A natural storyteller, Doty’s songs are as intimate and as personal as their handwritten lyrics. On stage, “Doty is a vulnerable performer and always inspires connections to form between herself and her audience.” – Calgary Journal

Doty will be performing original music from her albums “Come Fall” and “Gold” as well as new songs from her forthcoming album along with reimagined standards.
