Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame 7th Annual Induction Ceremony

A Co-Production between the Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame Foundation (http://www.edmontonblueshalloffame.com/) and the Edmonton Jazz Society.

Founded in 2014, the Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame Foundation recognizes and celebrates institutions, organizations and individuals that have made a significant contribution to the Edmonton Blues community.

This year the following will be inducted into the 2023 Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame:
· Performer: Edmonton musician Graham Guest
· Builder: Edmonton journalist Roger Levesque (posthumously)
· Literature and Recording: Talking Music Volumes I and II written by Holger Petersen

Following the induction ceremony, there will be a great night of music with a set by 2023 inductee Graham Guest Band, followed by a set featuring special guest Jack de Keyzer Band.

This new version of the Graham Guest Band brings to life a variation of some long standing musical relationships that have not, until now, been combined in this way. All veteran members of the Edmonton music community, Graham has been blessed with this new lineup which brings to life a new sound for Edmonton blues. Featuring almost all original material, the performance at the Yardbird Suite will be the first live performance for this group which to date has only worked together in the studio.
