Weeds, joined by Kansas City organist Chris Hazelton plus guitarist David Rourke and drummer Rudy Petschauer from New York, takes on hits like “Hip to Be Square”, “The Power Of Love”, and “I Want A New Drug”, leaving the melodies intact while remaking them into swinging organ-jazz workouts. The quartet captured their raw energy in the studio following a 2025 U.S. tour. Now, to celebrate the release of Hip To Be Square, they deliver the same spontaneity and fun in spades.
