Claudia Koval

Claudia is a graduate of the early Grant MacEwan College, and sang with the likes of Bob Stroup and “Big” Miller during the days when Edmonton was “Jazz City”, Canada.

Claudia then moved to LA to study at the Dick Grove School of Music and graduated from the CAP (composition, arranging and performance) program. Over the last few years, she has recorded two CD’s and a few singles with some of LA’s finest Jazz musicians. Her recordings can be heard on Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music. Claudia is bringing a little “classic Hollywood charm” to this show, including some American Songbook standards – with an occasional touch of “LA noir” influence. In addition, she will be performing several of her original works. Claudia is thrilled to have Chris Andrew as her piano player and musical director.
