During his academic studies Carlo started becoming familiar with Jazz and Improvised music. He has studied with Franco D’Andrea, Enrico Pieranunzi, Alvaro Is Rojas, Mulgrew Miller, and Walter Norris. He has lived and worked many years in Barcelona and in Madrid (Spain), in Lisbon (Portugal) and in Berlin (Germany). In all the cities where he lived, he has been active member of the local Jazz community. In his 35 year-career, he is pleased and honored to have played with many great musicians.
