Ben is, in addition to being a consummate acoustic singer-songwriter who has played and studied many styles of music, an accompanist in the studio. So when these songs are performed live they reach fans of storytelling and fans of improvisation. Ben’s Yardbird Suite show will mark the world premiere of an animation by Scott Gillies for Ben’s song ‘Before we Had Sarah’.
