She was the Inaugural Winner of the 2005 BWA Nina Simone Award in London, UK, for which she was again nominated in 2008. She has toured Western Canada four times, appearing with several of the region’s finest jazz, blues, gospel and soul artists. From 2017-’18, Adèle founded and toured her acclaimed Caribbean & Blue project, a showcase of standards and originals set to a fusion of contemporary jazz, Latin and Caribbean grooves. Having founded this project in honour of her West Indian mother, Adèle now performs Caribbean & Blue in memory of her late mother.

Adèle is honoured and delighted to be making her debut at the The Yardbird Suite. She will be presenting her 60 Years show, a collection of standards by artists who inspired her formative years, as well as her acclaimed, original songs. Joining Adèle will be world-class, Edmonton jazz artists Tom Van Seters, piano, Sean Croal, bass, and Jon Guenter, drums.
