This concert will mark the Edmonton premiere of Juno award-winning vocalist Sienna Dahlen's newest work "Ice Age Paradise", a luscious collection of original chamber folk and jazz-influenced music composed by Dahlen with arrangements by Andrew Downing for a 10-piece ensemble. For this show, the Ice Age Paradise project brings together a stellar group of Edmonton-based musicians with broad and eclectic palettes and backgrounds. A rare performance that is not to be missed!

“Dahlen is an engaging storyteller who brings to life a narrative almost completely visualized in monochrome. But as surely as night turns to day, voice, piano and bass, horns and cello, guitar and drums open the door to an attractive, songful luminosity that glimmers as if from a rainbow-coloured gossamer web.”
Raul da Gama, The WholeNote
